HOW TO PLAIN PUMPKIN?

Step 1: It is very easy to make a garden to grow Pumpkins, the first thing to do is to extract the seeds of a mature pumpkin, let them dry by placing them in the sun for 8 days and then store them in a glass jar with a little ash to remove any moisture that may be left.

Step 2: Then we select the seeds, we choose the largest ones and we must make sure they are not damaged or chopped. To then take to the fields.

Step 4: Generally, to start the planting we hope that the winter season is coming to an end as the boom can only be produced with residual soil moisture. The soil must be dry by the time the fruits are developed since it is a creeping plant that must be in continuous contact with it, if there is a lot of water the plant and the fruits will be damages.

Step 5: It is also important the arrival of the waning moon or full moon so that the harvest is more fruitful as it has been shown that there is an incidence of the moon in the process of production.

Step 6: To carry out the planting by hand, we start the furrow opening, with a planting distance of approximately 1 meter between plants and 3 meters between rows. In each hole, two to three seeds are placed.

Step 7: We wait 10 to 12 days for the plant to be born, and later we will be aware of the irrigation process to keep them moist, as it is small the garden, the most recommended is drip with fertirrigación obtaining better harvests in smaller area of land. There are many factors that we must consider in order for plants to flourish; such as:

  • The lack of air flow 3.
  • Over-watering
  • Unstable temperatures
