Today i want to share with you what independence is all about in nigeria.
Independence Day is an official national holiday in Nigeria, celebrated on the first of October Nigeria's proclamation of independence from British rule on 1 October 1960.
Nigeria gain their indepndence in 1960 from the british government. Nigeria was been controlled by the british government and they lawck freedom to do what they want to do.
Nigeria became free from the british government.
Nigeria! Nigeria!! Nigeria!!!
Arise, O compatriots,
Nigeria's call obey....
To serve our fatherland ......
With love and strength and faith .....
The labor of our heroes past .......
Shall never be in vain ....
To serve with heart and might ......
One nation bound in freedom.........,
Peace and unity. ........
Oh God of creation, .......
Direct our noble cause .....
Guide our leaders right ......
Help our youths the truth to know .......
In love and honesty to grow......
And living just and true ..........
Great lofty heights attain ........
To build a nation where peace .......
And justice shall reign.......
Nigeria is real, Nigeria my Nigeria....
