Hello Steemians friends, today I will talk about one of my favorite fruits, this has a delicious sweet taste with exotic touches, this is the star of many foods, sweets and drinks in particular one of my favorite pina coladas.

As you can see I will talk about the pineapple, whose scientific name is Ananas comosus, also known as pineapple or nanna, it is said that this tropical fruit with long, spiny leaves that was cultivated for the first time in Hawaii, at the end of the 19th century; and currently occurs in tropical countries around the world.

The pineapple can be cultivated directly in a conditioned land for that purpose or also in pots, the most common form of reproduction by transplanting the crown of this fruit, it is important that it is sown in a place with high humidity and abundant heat . Once the sowing of the crown is done, it will take root and its growth will be very slow, it is estimated that the first production will take place from 1.5 to 2 years.

It is important to note that when starting the planting process the plant must be exposed to semi-shade or partial shade with enough light. Once this has reached its maturity it can be exposed to full sun, it should be watered regularly but without abuse, since the excess of humidity and the lack of nutrients can produce some pests such as: cottony cochineal, nematodes, fruit fly, moths, symphilids, butterflies among others.

The pineapple is very appreciated all over the world because it has minerals such as magnesium, iodine, iron, manganese and zinc, it is also rich in carbohydrates that provide a lot of energy; and also rich in vitamins A, B and C; not satisfied with all this pineapple is a fruit whose highest percentage, approximately 85% is composed of water and has very few calories because it is the queen fruit used in many diets.

This wonderful fruit has many properties, is rich in antioxidants, contributes to digestion, since it is considered an antacid of natural origin, helps to avoid cramping due to its high mineral content, it is also anti-inflammatory, it is recommended to regulate the blood pressure, among others.

As you see Steemians friends, this wonderful fruit has endless wonderful things to offer our health, but if you thought that this was all, you are wrong, since the pineapple also serves to keep our skin younger because it is rich in antioxidant, helps reduce cellulite because it is diuretic for its high water content, and in addition to all this because it is low in calories it keeps us slender. This also has other uses not well known as softening hard dogs, as it has a substance called bromelain, which helps the meat is tender and ready to cook.

The pineapple is wonderful and has much to offer from there that my recommendation is that if you have the love of cultivation, dare to grow this fruit because of its versatility you will not regret it.

For my part this will be one of my next projects, here are some photos of my authorship.
