Thinking that I had lots of time to relax and rest my back this week, I decided to take my boy to see Hobbs and Shaw this morning. It's a perfect movie for a couple of boys to enjoy themselves; non stop action and lots of laughs. It was fun.
Well, since we were having such a nice time together, I thought we'd extend it and go have lunch at Ihop (his favourite).
While we were waiting for our lunch from the less than happy waitress, I got a text from a farrier friend that his back is out and he wondered if I could pick up an extra 11 horses this week. Well, it just so happens I had a couple of days off planned so I offered to pitch in for him.
I worry about my friend. He says he is going for an MRI this afternoon. That must mean he feels like he is in trouble. This is no wimp.
I'm anxious to hear back from him about the results and hopefully its just stressed muscles.
I'm also a little worried about my own back. I don't really have back problems, but I have had a few spells of muscle spasms and that was about the worst pain and dysfunction I have ever experienced.
