I had a read of the story on your blog... sorry that you didn't get in. In the coming year, you should consider getting some "lessons" from someone at the music school (or from elsewhere). Coming at a new music field by yourself can be difficult, and it is often great to have new sets of ears that can provide feedback?

    I'm definitely going to bug all of the teachers at the institution for lessons this year! I really don't "need" the instruction they way they'll be giving me instruction though - I can (and have) figured out a lot of the playing stuff on my own. (I want to go back for theory and contact making)
