Today on my fashion story i want to talk about the Nigerian Tailor experience.
Sometime during the yuletide a friend of mine came back to Nigeria from canada.
she was so excited to be back after more than a decade. she said to be Coco i want to go back with alot of African prints popularly known as Ankara in my excitement that she was embracing her roots we went Ankara fabric shopping after that we chose styles that were going to blow the minds of her white friends (popularly known as oyinbo) when she went back.
We gave a tailor who came to pitch to us how awesome and perfect she was as a tailor and designer in quote. so we gave her the fabrics and waited in excitement. This is what we asked for (a)and what we got(b) .

Hahaha! Nigerian wannabe tailors, right? Just dropped off an ankara material at my new tailor's... hope I don't get the same experience. 😁😁
