Fashion Trends I’m Looking Forward To!!

Obviously workwear is only getting more popular but I really think that’s going to continue as we get into 2018. It also looks like cropped items are becoming more and more interesting for menswear and not just womenswear. For example Raf Simons makes a really cool sweater called the disturbed knit sweater. There’s a bunch of color ways and each have different silhouettes, some with elongate sleeves and some with a more fitted looked, but the common factor is the cropped body. Along with this I’m hoping that dad wear continues to make its comeback. The reason I would be excited about this is because you can so easily find very similar items at the thrift that look just like the designer clothes. For example Balenciaga only continues to even further push the classic working man look which basically consists of some straight fit pants and a mix of loose fitting button ups. Lastly, overcoats seem to making a resurgence this season. Tons of people were wearing them at fashion weeks this year and I think this trend is only starting to hit its stride. Here’s some of the looks that exemplify the different trends I was speaking on!

Also, it seems that clunky sneakers are here to stay for a little while so invest in some damn dad shoes.
