Fashion Secret: What is the difference between a Tuxedo and a Business Suit 🤔

Was ist der Unterschied zwischen einem Smoking und einem Anzug? Ein Smoking ist einfach erklärt ein etwas eleganterer Anzug, der normalerweise komplett in Schwarz gehalten ist und mit einem etwas eleganteren weißen Hemd (zum Beispiel mit versteckter Knopfleiste und Manschettenknöpfen), einer schwarzen Weste und einer Masche getragen wird.

Das Sakko hat meistens einen Kragen aus Satin und die dazu passende schwarze Smoking-Hose erkennt man meistens an den seitlichen Satin-Streifen als Detail.

Ein Business-Anzug hingegen ist eine Kombination aus Sakko und Anzughose, die aber in allen möglichen Farben, Mustern und Details angeboten werden und dadurch mehr individuellen Spielraum lässt. Ein Business-Anzug kann auch mit einer Weste kombiniert werden und wird meistens mit oder ohne Krawatte getragen.

Kombiniert man den Business-Anzug mit etwas lässigeren Kleidungsstücken wie zum Beispiel einer Jeanshose, einem Hoodie oder lässt zum Beispiel das Hemd weg, spricht man von Business Casual.

The jacket usually has a satin collar and the matching black tuxedo trousers can be recognized by the satin stripes on the sides as a detail.

A business suit, on the other hand, is a combination of a jacket and suit trousers, which are offered in all possible colors, patterns and details and thus leave more room for individuality. A business suit can also be combined with a vest and is usually worn with or without a tie.

If the business suit is combined with more casual pieces such as a pair of jeans, a hoodie or a t-shirt, the resulting dress code is called "business casual".
