The Effects of Fast Food on the Body

I think most of what you say is passable, but some information is basically a trope and out of date. Referring to HDL and LDL as "good" or "bad", is a total mischaracterization of their function. The ratio of one to the other is what is relevant to your health, and your cholesterol level is intelligently decided by your body. Cholesterol is the the building block material in your body, if you have heightened levels of cholesterol it could be indicative of a person healing from an injury for example; not necessarily bad health.

If you want to fight obesity, then you have to help people learn new skills. A warning label isn't going to cut it alone, people need real tangible help.

One of the major issues in any modern society is that people have literally no idea what actual hunger feels like. We struggle to understand the differences between cravings, a lack of nutrition, thirst, and hunger. Most people have never gone over 48 hours without eating food, because they perceive that as being unhealthy, when in fact it isn't.

Leaning to fast is probably the #1 skill a person could learn to control their health. Going 72 hours without eating isn't going to kill you, it's only going to help you if you've been binge eating lately. Let your body's digestion have a break, let your body burn the sugars in the blood and switch to burning fat instead. Learn what actual hunger feels like so you can use it to compel yourself to make healthier decisions.

You gotta ask yourself, if someone is truly starving and malnourished, and you put fast food in front of them as one choice, and roasted vegetables and fresh juice as an alternative choice, which do you think they're going to eat?! If they are truly hungry, their body is going to recognize what they need and compel them to go for that.

I'll Follow you on Steemit because you are well spoken and spreading a positive message. If you Follow me back you'll see that I actually do eat healthy foods, even though occasionally I will admit I have fast food!
