India deploys Cray supercomputer to weather and climatic change monitoring

The Service of Earth Sciences (MoES) has marked an agreement worth $67 million with famous processing equipment firm, Cray Inc., to benefit and convey two Cray XC40 supercomputers combined with its Cray ClusterStor stockpiling frameworks at its divisions in Pune and Noida.

With a joined FPU (Gliding Point Unit) of more than 6 petaflops and capacity limit of moIMG_20180120_063815.pngre than 18 petabytes, MoES's new processing frameworks are a standout amongst the most effective figuring frameworks in the nation.
