Free Coin of the Day 2/23/18: Pay Pro App Airdrop, How To Enter for Free Coins

Today's free coin of the day is Pay Pro App, which is working on creating a decentralized financial wallet and marketplace. "Welcome to the 1st financial marketplace as a DAO," is the message the Pay Pro App proudly displays on their current homepage. DAO, for those who aren't familiar with the term (I'm still new to it as well so don't feel bad), stands for decentralized autonomous organization, meaning the "company" operates on the blockchain and operations are transparent.

Here's a little bit more about what they're trying to do directly from Pay Pro whitepaper (the website doesn't have a lot of information):

PayPro will be a financial marketplace where any Decentralized Application (dApp) will be able to offer its services. Thus, dApps will be competing to become your supplier, not the other way around as is customary with banks.

"Once we have built the wallet, a user will be capable of storing to name a few, but not limited to ETH, BTC or GAS and use the marketplace for investing in a crowdfunding platform. The individual would receive tokens from this investment that would also be able to be stored on PayPro's wallet. As a result of that, all the crypto-assets and liabilities of an individual will be represented in PayPro."

You receive tokens to staying active on Twitter and their Telegram account, and will earn 0.25x more token for every referral you make.

The Coin

I like to evaluate the actual use of the coin and if it's needed, or even useful in some cases, before spending a few minutes of my time entering an airdrop. If a company has no use for a coin, they shouldn't be using one.

The Pay Pro App plans to use the coin as the currency within their future marketplace, which will be built after their universal wallet is completed. This does give the coin enough of a chance to be a solid hodl option for your airdropping "investments." I am interested in seeing how easy it will be to exchange Pay Pro for the other currencies in your wallet, but if done right, this would help the token be used frequently and effectively, helping it increase in value as the wallet and marketplace become popular.

Potential

A universal wallet for ERC20 tokens is something I very much would be interested in using. For any of us entering airdrops, this will be very useful. Obviously it must be developed with security in mind. The team (found on the homepage: https://www.payproapp.com/) looks to be experienced but I'd feel a little bit more comfortable with this project if there were a couple of designated security experts ensuring the future wallet and marketplace are safe and secure to use.

The open financial marketplace is an extremely interesting concept and future product for Pay Pro. It will require users to be educated about their options, because with no screening (Pay Pro states that there will be no screening process whatsoever), there are sure to be scammers trying to take advantage of consumers.

With more and more financial dAPPs (decentralized apps) being created every day, they are going to want to find places like the Pay Pro marketplace to find new users and grow their platform. This looks to be a solid place to do exactly that.

I believe the potential of a project of this nature is very high, although I have absolutely no clue if the team is the right one to pull it off (I don't know that they aren't either, just being fully transparent).

As with all projects, cryptos, and ICOs, make sure you are using the right links and not visiting spam domains created as a scam. Airdrops and bounties give free coins in exchange for trying out a new platform, signing up for a newsletter, etc. These are different from ICOs where you are paying money (sending cryptocurrency) in exchange for coins that will be sent to your wallet once their sale is complete.
