I have never spent any time learning about the different types of gulls. They all seem to intermingle with each other.

Hope you are having a great day!

He's a little beauty in that first shot. I took your advice about sitting for a few hours in the garden. The weather was fine and I did get one bird and then the fun started?

That really is a lovely bird and a great photo!

Thanks for using the #featheredfriday tag and sharing your link with us!

Thanks so much for using the #featheredfriday tag!

And here is my entry to the challenge:

A hoopoe! I saw some the first time I traveled to Portugal and was quite astonished by them! Great photo!

Yes, they are amazing, especially when flying!
Thank you :)

Thanks for sharing the photos of your sweet little hummers!

Most welcome Melinda. I’m happy you are keeping the Feathered Friday Challenge going. Love your photos of the cute little sparrows.

That is a beautiful bird!

I'm not sure which one is Dolly and which one is Albert, but they are both really good looking!

And that collar they put it up while roekoe-ring that sound they make is so sweet

Excellent photos, as always!

Thank you very much : )

very beautiful bird !!!! I did not see them with us.

Just finished up with the Shadow Contest post and had time to come back and watch your videos. Nicely done!

i searched my photos and found this. some bird living in south korea.

I really like that photo! Thanks so much for joining in and supporting #featheredfriday. I would love to see more birds from your part of the world.

Thanks. Usually i dont take bird photos tho. This is the only one i took in my entire life! 😆

Well then I'm twice as honored that you shared it with us! 😃

I really knew next to nothing about these little birds, so thanks for this!

Nice shots, what camera and lens did you use @melinda010100 ?

I'm using my Panasonic Lumix FZ200. I recently bought a Wi-Fi card for it and now that the photos are easier to retrieve I am using it again.

They are my favourites your pictures rock, I am going to straighten my feathers and will send you the link later on dear.

Thanks so much for supporting #featheredfriday. You rock!

Wow ... 15 years. That is a longtime. They are quick though.

I thought it was long, too. There would seem to be so many hazards for a little bird!

Buenos días amiga @melinda010100 deseo que se encuentre bien , lindas imagenes de esos gorriones . Que tenga un feliz día.

Gracias, Edgar! I hope you have a good weekend!

Nice photos of them! Those smaller birds are hard to spot... or at least for me, they are. They blend in well and hide in the leaves.

I sat for hours to get a few acceptable bird photos. It's not just you... I would have missed this pair, except he was working so hard to get her attention, that he got my attention too!

I love sparrows and how they ride out storms they are so tiny.
@melinda010100 I sent you a dm in discord asking if I send you the winners of the sports shadow contest in the morning? what is the next step? How many do I select.

Looking forward to see who you pick! I sent you a dm in Discord.
Hope your move went smoothly!

What awesome shots I seldom see birds they tend to fly away before I can get a shot but luck was on my side I saw a hawk and got a few shots of ti Haven't got them off the camera yet but I hope I got some good shots to share sometime for Feathered Friday

Oh good! I have to sit patiently until the birds forget that I am there, then if I move quietly I can sometimes get a few shots. I tried to take hummingbird photos today. They are still in the camera, but I'm not expecting much. Man they are fast! I'm looking forward to seeing your hawk pictures.

That’s my problem sitting patiently is something I just can not do I am to hyper and need to keep moving
I had a look at my shots last night and some should be ok to edit and share

I usually am making comments using my phone or reading posts. Sometimes I get so involved on Steem that I forget to look up and see if there are any birds around.

LOL, I am pretty good when out photowalking i leave my phone alone, but if I was to sit somewhere then I would e doing the same and miss the birds as well

We do have Steem fixations!

Thats we do without a doubt :) but there are worse fixations to have

How lovely! I'm so happy to hear House Sparrows can live up to 15 years! Because we have a lot of them around the garden and I keep a feeder on our balcony all year. Thank you for making the #featheredfriday ! I'm a Catlady but I also love birds a lot. Looking forward to see more cute bird photos from you and every one else ;-)

So happy you found us and hope you enjoy all the great bird photos that everyone posts here. Feel free to join in and post your own #featheredfriday photos at any time!

Muy tiernos los gorriones en conversacion, ellos tienen su propio lenguaje comunicacional, muy lindas esas imagenes y ellos estaban listos para la foto,saludos@melinda010100,feliz noche

Gracias, Petra!

You are right, Melinda, sparrows follow us everywhere :) But forest is a bit unusual place for them.
The first shot is so lovely!

Thank you! I guess we call them house sparrows because they like houses better than trees! 😃

Probably yes, but I am not sure about our sparrows. They love bushes very much here.
And I never know they are "house" sparrows, until today 😉
I find so.ething new in your post every time, thank you ☺👩‍🎓

There are so many different types of sparrows here. I often can not identify them by looking, and it helps to take a photo so that I can see their markings better.

I even downloaded an app "Birds of Ukraine" for same purpose ))

I use an Audubon app to compare my photos to, especially with sparrows.

Love your photography and enjoy the info too about he sparrows which I didn't know anything about.

Thanks! Posting pictures of the birds that visit my yard has forced me to learn more about some of tgem.

Great shot Melinda..........they are adorable 😍

They are cute when they are not in 'packs'!

Yes you are right, lol

What sweet little birds! Fantastic closeups @melinda010100!! :-)
Happy Feathered Friday! ❤ 🐦

I didn't realize there were so many species of sparrows they are a cute little bird with a long life span :)

I didn't pay any attention to the little brown birds in my yard until I started taking pictures of them and realized that they were not all the same!
I think the average sparrow life is closer to 3 years. There are a lot of hazards that can keep them from reaching old age!

It is amazing what a photo brings to you we all learn through photography we see things that we probably didn't take much notice of :)

Howdy Melinda! Those are such excellent photos of the little guys! Just found one dead on our deck this morning. They'd built a nest under the eve of the deck and I guess one of the little ones didn't learn to fly very well. Very interesting that they live that long.

Thanks! I think the average life span is closer to 3 years. There are a lot of hazards for little birds!

Oh I guess that's true, it's a tough life out there for the little things!
