These are awesome, @melinda010100! I've only seen a Northern Flicker once in our yard - he was digging around in my landlady's garden. Great mom & son captures!

I'm back this week with one myself - thanks again for keeping this tag going!

I think flickers are supposed to be common everywhere, but I sure don't see them very often! Your Hawk photos are quite wonderful!

Not my best photos, but I wanted to share them anyway. I have 4 different types of woodpeckers that visit my yard. The others stay all winter, but it's always fun to see the Flickers return in the spring

That is an amazing close up Melinda wow! Such a beautiful feathers. I don't think I ever saw this type of bird around here. I keep seeing and hearing red Cardinal, but no chance to take photo of him, lol. I even saw his made once. Of course lots of Robins and here is my other attempt to take photo of one, lol. He was a lot further, but I cropped the photo.

Thank you! I think flickers like lots of trees and leaf clutter on the ground. Great Robin photo! I am seeing more robins this year. It didn't seem like there were very many around last year.

That is a beautiful bird Melinda and love the photos!! It is hard to capture birds on camera sometimes (at least for me). If only they would sit still..lol. I can see how they would be related to woodpeckers. I'm working on my first post for #featheredfriday and will update with a link when I get it posted.😉

Well quite excitedly, I took part on this and done the mistake with hashtag it is " feathered" and I use "feather" my bad......anyway hope you will enjoy this
