It's #featheredfriday... and everybody was kung-fu fighting!

Well... maybe not everybody.

Some were really well behaved, and even lectured about all the possible species to see in this nature trail!

For the non-portuguese speaking, the sign says "Bird observation in the Laurissilva forest", which is the typical forest in Madeira island. And to lecture about the different species, there he was, perching, making sure we all read carefully: one of the species I really wanted to see here, a subspecies of the common chaffinch!

They are similar to the common chaffinch, but even more beautiful, with brighter colours! Males are the more colourful ones, with the bright grey caps.
This one wasn't kung-fu fighting either, just enjoying the show.

And some of them weren't interested in anything besides the crumbs some of the tourists left in the stone table in the viewpoint.

But this couple...

Man...

I don't know what the male did (it's always male's fault, right?)... but the lady wasn't pleased!!
