The Eurasian tree sparrow (Passer montanus)
Wild sparrows. A person who does not know them will certainly confuse them with ordinary house sparrows who live in urban courtyards and streets, which we are all used to seeing.
But still, these wild sparrows can be seen in the city, among a flock of house sparrows. This happens in the winter, they fly to the cities in search of food and join the flocks of their city counterparts.
I have already talked about distinctive features more than once. This is primarily a brown cap on the head, and black spots on white cheeks. These are the most noticeable features. Moreover, both males and females.
Regarding these photos, I made them in the summer near the riverbank. There are a lot of them in our city, and this is the only place where you can meet them, there they live in the middle of low bushes.
