Feathered Friends

Spring is in the air. The swans are busy building their nest which usually takes 2-3 weeks.

Once all the eggs have been laid they will be incubated and hatched after approximately 6 weeks later. They can lay upto 10 eggs.

The moorhens are pairing up also. Approximately, 8 eggs are usually laid with incubation lasting about 3 weeks.

Wonderful photos! I've never seen a swan nest before. Thanks for posting to #featheredfriends. ❤️. !Tip

Thank you. The nests can be quite big. They will come back to it every year.
