Ben Bernanke said at that start of the last recession he doesn't see a recession in sight. We later found out that was a lie and he couldn't say it because of his position. Now he calls his reaction of money printing an experiment and we will have to wait to see the results.
The fact janet yellen said that means perhaps a financial crisis is around the corner? I strongly believe we are coming very closely to a recession at the least. When the leaders say keep calm, its time to panic.
She is crazy because the velocity of money isn't going anywhere, not to mention car loan defaults, credit card defaults, student loan defaults, and lets not forget 9000 plus stores closing. Then there is also a US dollar that is going lower so the purchasing power of people is getting the average day person less because prices are going up.
To top it all off Puerto Rico ,Illinois,California,conneticut,New Jersey have there budgets in the toilet and facing bankruptcy.
