Grind

in feldman •  6 years ago

This is a short blues and jazz improvisation I did for piano, guitar, and bass that starts to sound a bit like an upbeat, happy version of Morton Feldman near the end. It's about being so zoned in that you're zoned out - getting past being down by getting to the grind of every-day life with trained proficiency. It's easy to get out of your funk if you're engaged in something constructive.
