Is feminism really still about equality or is it now about female supremacy?

Everything I say, I say in light of what I have seen in my own country, Nigeria. Feminism as defined by Wikipedia is a range of political movements, ideologies, and social movements that share a common goal: to define, establish, and achieve political, economic, personal, and social equality of sexes. This includes seeking to establish educational and professional opportunities for women that are equal to those for men. I want to take a look at a key word used in the definition here. "Sexes".

...equality of sexes...

This means that we are bringing both men and women to the same level politically, educationally, socially, etc. And while most people are completely fine with this, there's a little issue that has tipped the balance in favour of women.

Women have struggled for the right to do as much as men. They want to have all the rights that men supposedly have but want none of the duties and responsibilities that come with it. If women are to truly be equal to men then their rights must be elevated and their privileges reduced. But majority of the female rights activists I have met want one and not the other. They want the work and the social status but also want men to continue to be chivalrous.

I once read a news article about a woman who refused to kneel before her husband during their traditional wedding. She said she wouldn't do it because she was his equal. But photos showed that he knelt to propose to her and she was all smiles. To truly be equal, women must fight for their rights and also force men to stop giving them that special treatment that we do. But alas, they want the best of both worlds. They want to work but also want to be taken care of. They want to go to school but also want to get married to a rich man that will provide for them. Basically, they want everything. If this isn't female supremacy, then I don't know what is.

Good for you to notice that “equal obligation” and “equal accountability” is absence from the Wikipedia definition.

Now to the answer to your question: Feminism has never been about equality and it was always about female supremacy! Ever since Charles Fourier coined the term “feminism” has said: “the health of a society is indexed by how it treats its women”

No word of the wellbeing and treatment of men. From day one it was only about a better live for women. And that is only possible to the detriment of men.

Feminism has deceived you. It has deceived all of society for over a hundred years. Feminism is a social cancer on society.
