I am a Woman but NOT a Femenist by todays 'Standard'.

I like to think of myself as a girly-girl, I love the colour pink and flowers blah blah blah. This is my expression of my feminism but that won't suit every woman. Thats natural, everyone is unique and surrounds them selves in different colours and what ever style they feel best. Maybe the colour blue is empowering to some ladies.

Today when I see videos of 'Feminists' on TV or Social Media, its all about woman this, woman that, no men blah blah blah. A woman can survive on her own, she doesn't need a man .... Wrong!! This drives me mad and I will explain shortly why. I hate when you try to explain how they are wrong and so they throw the sexist card at you ... you think woman belong at home blah blah. Urgh ....

That is NOT NOT NOT what true feminism is about ... que eye roll ...

It about the right balance, no woman can not live with out men and vice versa ... why? Because humanity would dye off and dont give me that test tube baby crap. A true feminist embraces herself for who she is and embraces the roles that our men play in the world.

I guess this is just kinda a rant lol news got me rattled as it does. My grandad played one of the most important roles in my life and he is the glue of the family. I'm so lucky to still have him and my nan ♡ Everyone needs that 50/50 influence from both men and woman and doesn't matter what relationship they are to you, family or friend ♡
