Drug dealer jailed in Feni

A mobile court has sentenced a fellow drug dealer named Abul Hashem (32) for a day-long drive in BSCIC area of ​​Feni city.

As part of the anti-drug drive, on Thursday (03 May), the district administration's task force detained him in a drive in Debipur area of ​​BSCIC area.

District administration's Executive Magistrate Sohel Rana was also present on the occasion. Assistant Director of the Department of Narcotics Control Abu Abdullah Zahid and Battalion Ansar members were present.

Executive magistrate said that on the basis of secret information, a raid was conducted at the house of Abdul Kuddus in the house of Debbipur Al Jabir Academy School to catch Rupok, a local drug dealer. After understanding about the operation, when Rupom fled, his associate Abul Hashem was arrested with 37 pieces of yaba.

Later, he was sentenced to one year by a mobile court.
