STEEMIT:MY NEW JOY

I joined steemit a few days ago and I'm not gonna lie to you it feels good to have a social media platform that allows you to express yourself while at the same time rewarding you too.

Now, I have been a very consistent twitter and instagram user, and in all the years, months, days, minutes, seconds I have spent on this social media platforms I have not seen any positive impact it has had in my life, whether emotionally, mentally, or even physically.
Twitter has literally made me fat from sitting down hours on hours just looking at other people lie about their lives.

Not saying these platforms don't have their positives or haven't helped some people escape their problems, but for how long can we run from life and it's issues. You cannot weigh the positives over the negatives of ignorant social platforms. The negatives certainly outweigh the positives. People 'troll' other people on these platforms not knowing they are unknowingly causing depression for the people whom they are trolling.

Now to the point, steemit has helped me personally immensely. I can't remember the last time I sat down to write something without thinking in my head on how to stir controversy (so as to get followers) until steemit came along.

Steemit has brought my creative and imaginative side back. Not only that am gonna get rewarded for being creative. How can they be any bad effect in this? I sometimes look at my feeds and smile cause I see some amazing creativity on display. It gives me a lot of joy.

Let's all join hands and enlarge this platform and bring more youths here cause this should be the new facebook, the new twitter, the new instagram. This should be where people are free to express their inner genius.

I'm so happy that I'm here sharing in this joy.
