Ferrari 488 top speed
Ferrari’s been quite successful at introducing new variations of their high-end sports cars. The company’s 2016 model year lineup includes no fewer than five vehicles: Ferrari California T, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, Ferrari GTC4Lusso, Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta and Ferrari Portofino.
All but one of these vehicles have a turbocharged engine; unfortunately for fans of large, naturally aspirated engines, that vehicle is not a member of Ferrari’s wildly popular 8-cylinder family.
It is instead Italy’s take on Germany’s beloved 3-liter automobile: The 488 GTB — the most powerful front-engined vehicle in the company’s history — has been with us since mid-2015. The top speed of this car is 205 mph.

Ferrari 488 pista details
The Ferrari 488 is a mid-engined sports car built by Ferrari. Launched in 2015 to replace its predecessor, 458 Italia, it is powered by a 3.9 liter twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 661 horsepower at 8500 rpm, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h).
The 488 GTB was named The Supercar of the Year 2016 by car magazine Top Gear. The Ferrari 488 GTB ranks second in performance among its contemporaries in Top Gear's Power Lap Times as of May 2016.

Price of Ferrari 488
The Ferrari 488 GTB starts at $242,895. The price goes up to $297,790 for a coupe or convertible with all-wheel drive.
This is expensive, but it's cheaper than earlier Ferrari models such as LaFerrari ($1.3 million), Enzo ($670,000) and F12 Berlinetta ($354,225). You can get another V8 model for around $240K that's similar to Ferrari 488: Bentley Continental GT V8 S Convertible.
Ferrari 488 review 2022
Ferrari has a lot to live up to with its successor to a fan favorite. The Ferrari 488 GTB delivers on that promise by taking a winning recipe and improving upon it in all of the right ways.
It also comes in two versions: standard or pista, which stands for race track. We take a close look at how it compares to its predecessor, as well as competitors from McLaren, Lamborghini, and others. See below for our full review.

Ferrari 488 Performance
First of all, let's talk performance. Ferrari has traditionally been known for making cars that are fast from 0 to 60 miles per hour.
The Ferrari 488 is no exception, but it's also good at more than just acceleration—and in many ways better than its predecessor, the 458 Italia. If you want a sports car that can do everything well, you're looking at it (but you'll pay for it).
While top-end speeds are somewhat lower than what some supercars offer, most people won't be able to drive fast enough to hit those speeds anyway (with one major exception—more on that below). At high speeds, wind resistance slows down all cars.

The Safety Features of the Ferrari 488
Ferrari is a company that’s renowned for producing top-quality cars, but few would expect them to be among the safest in their industry. Although Ferrari has rarely been at the forefront of safety development, with its newest car – The Ferrari 488 pista spider - they are now leading by example.
With safety features to rival luxury brands like Mercedes and BMW, it should come as no surprise that speed limits have been ignored by some drivers.
However, Ferrari has also made sure that both of their latest models are incredibly comfortable to drive which means you don’t need to worry about sacrificing driving pleasure when you want something safe. Furthermore, though they may look relatively similar on paper, these two F-cars actually have vastly different personalities.
Ferrari 488 market details
The Ferrari 488 has a more aggressive-looking front with a new front splitter, grille, bonnet vents, air channels running along its flanks, flics (winglets) at either end of its rear decklid and a deeper diffuser.
There’s also a pair of large blacked-out panels on either side of its tail lights. The overall effect is very imposing from any angle. When you step inside you’ll find that it has all been subtly upgraded too:
there are red accents within its air vents for starters – though most obvious is a new flat-bottomed steering wheel finished in suede. The overall look is sportier than before but still remains businesslike.
