India is a great diversity of cultures and festivals and I feel very happy to be a part of it. It is time for Ganesh Chaturthi festival celebration. It was my first time that I celebrated this festival in South India. There is so much joy and fun in celebrating the festival in India. I am sharing a few photographs and videos so you can also have a taste of India’s culture and festival

While celebrating the festival, I looked at people’s faces, they were so happy, energetic, powerful and fulfilled that I couldn’t control myself and danced with all the people around. It just filled me up with joy, happiness and a lot of energy.  Everybody was a rockstar at that time because they were dancing with their hearts without being judged and paying attention to their moves. I had a lot of fun with those amazing people.

I noticed that Ganesh Chaturthi festival is celebrated with more passion in South India(mainly Maharastra) than any other part. I was lucky to be shifted in Pune and had the opportunity to celebrate the festival there. I hope you like the photographs and videos.

It's really cool to see photos of special occasions from other cultures. Looks like you guys party it up!

One thing that's different from U.S. culture is that I don't see any women dancing. It's almost a taboo in mainstream U.S. culture for a bunch of guys to be dancing with each other. When the balance of women and men is skewed towards men, a gathering is often called a "sausage party."
