A fast for safety and longevity of husband

Hello my all dear steemit friends!
Have you ever heard about that a fast for husband safety and long life.

I tell you about it:
That fast called karwa chauth

On karwa chauth women who are married fast from sunrise to moonrise for the safety and longevity of their husband.
The karwa chauth fast is traditionally celebrated in the States of rajasthan, up, delhi , gujrat, punjab .

Karwa chauth is a one day festival.
It is observed by hindu women.

So whole day how women celebrated that festival , I tell you which celebrate by my mom:
In the morning they done pooja .

Women wear red saree and they make heena on their hand with husband name:

Whole day they observed fast and don't eat nothing and some women don't drink water😅

In night women complete their fast looking at rising moon through a sieve.

And after it they take dinner and complete their fast and wish for their husband's long life.

So yesterday we celebrated that festival and wishes for good health for all.
