In India, many unique Ganesha idols are installed implementing different ideas some convey the importance of preserving nature, hazards of addiction, dowery system, female foeticide etc. India's leading car maker Ford has installed Lord Ganesha made up of car spare parts. The car parts used for building this idol weighed 500 kg. The idea behind using car parts for Ganesha Idol was to convey the message to use genuine spare parts for their vehicle.
