I've only ever heard of Ozora. I don't really know too much about European festivals, unfortunately...other than Tomorrowland and Defqon.1. I'm much more familiar with the American festival scene. :P Do you go to festivals a lot out there? Which one is your favorite?
The boom is a wonderful festival held in Portugal every 2 years. its a great gathering that bring people from over 200 countries together for a week of music and art.
My favorite European festival is the ZNA festival, also held in Portugal, much smaller festival, but also an amazing one :)
From 6 years @ Ozora I have drawn a lot of information from people. I never went to Boom myself, but I still have not much interest in it either.
While most people agree that the spiritual vibes and people are generally awesome at boom, lines are too long, distances too great and the sun really fries the whole place into a dried wasteland. People said that they would not ever go if there wasn't a lake right by the festival site, and Ozora can be freakin hot already. But ten degrees more and I would go insane.
Ozora is much better in these regards from what I can tell. Though, we are going towards more people and any year might be the last enjoyable one. I still recommend the festival out of all psy festivals I know, learned too much there and met the most amazing people. But one year it might simply be too much.
If you're going, let me know, I already have two people off minds.com who I will be meeting at the mainfloor ;)
First week of august will be totally worth it again. Maybe the last time, we'll see how many people we are this year. But last year was still too good not to take the journey on. Such a great time.
Boom 2018 has been sold out quickly, I think they are cutting down on people, which is generally a good thing. But as I said, harsh dry climate, and twice the travel distance for me - not worth it yet. Not until I meet more people who can outright recommend it.

That sounds so sick! Is it all Electronic Dance Music, or it is open to all different types of music?
