Feynman Lightworks Tutorials - Simple Text Animation

in feynmantutorials •  6 years ago

Sometimes adding text to our videos isn't enough, we want to animate them as well. Animation simply means, to make something move, in this case our text, often referred to as titles.

In this video I show you how to use the built in animation titles, named crawl and how to tweak the parameters so that the movement will fit into your particular scenario.

We do this using the VFX tab, and then using keyframes within that tab.

Remember Lightworks is completely free to download and use. Make sure you register (no obligation to purchase, no financial details needed), because once you do, your free 7 day trial lasts forever!

@cryptogee,

Great video ... and I am sold on Lightworks.

Here's my plan: I'm going to force my daughter to watch all your tutorials! She is going to become an expert in no time.

That's called force-multiplication of effect.

Quill :-)

Haha! Good plan :-) ... Let me know if she has any specific questions and I'll try to cover them.

There you go, how often does the tutorial maker bend to the whims of his audience in such a way?! :-)
