Night Person- Entry to Freewriting Fridays Frenzy #fff-challenge

When the night has come and the land is dark.
And the moon is the only light we'll see

Do you remember a song from John Lennon entitled "Stand By Me"? Well, that's one of my favourite's songs that mentioned moon. Moon River or Blue Moon from Frank Sinatra and What A Wonderful World of Louis Armstrong are the other. Why?

I am a "night person" 😊 night person means someone who will stay up late for work and produce the best things during the night time. I don't quite remember how I became a night person. But I think, football matches live on TV are to blame😂 yeahh... because the different time of the match took place on the other continents. I watched the live games on TV since the first TV were in our neighbourhood in 1985 and it belongs to my neighbour who was a sub-district chief or Camat.

I spent my night to watch the live of World Cup Match Final in 1986 ( I was 11 yo) at the neighbour's and 1990 at my home with our own colour TV. My Father was a civil servant and He'd stay up late to finished the Mosque or Dam design as a civil engineering student, and He always got home at night when he came back from out of town duties, which mean He needs someone to open the door and had a privilege to know what he brought as souvenirs. It's me and it's always me until I left home for Study to other city.

I spent my night to study and sometimes to joined the secret meetings about Aceh's situation with the student and civil society movement which always took time at night, though it was so dangerous to spent around midnight in a city with Martial Law Enforcement. But, I have no much choices that time😊 my colleagues who were always man would asked me to come with them because They thought it would safer if they took me with them😂 I feared nothing.

Later on, I worked as a radio announcer during the important period of peace building process in Aceh with a preparetion of conducting The Special Law of Shari'a Islam and night hour too. I was the only female who still working at the Radio Station till 2 am when all radio stations would be closed off at 00. Except for the "Stand By Me from Lennon" the 3 other songs will be my signature programm, jazzy tunes or easy listening songs and my salary was a cent for an hour. But I survived with 10 dollars a month no matter what at that time (2000-2004).

Night always special time to me😊 when I create this post and other posts on Steemit. I knew that most people will keep working to earns something for their live and families. Like the old man who pulling a cart with stove inside to heat the corns and peanuts and keep it warm even in a drizzling or hard rainy nights. And right when I wrote this post, 3 young men who came from a Salt Island called Madura, East Java still doing their job to sell fried rice, siomay and pangsit in front of My Father In Law Small Grocery with their pushing carts.

Night is a time when somebody start their day but also time to review their day and mission on earth. Night also a special time for muslim to get closer to Allah that they worship through some special prays which only several muslims could keep it as habitual deed. Night also a blanket for them who sweated during the day light, to enjoy their accomplishment mission.
