It’s all I have to bring today—
This, and my heart beside—
This, and my heart, and all the fields—
And all the meadows wide—
Be sure you count—should I forget
Some one the sum could tell—
This, and my heart, and all the Bees
Which in the Clover dwell.

What is it? It kind of looks like a pepperoni cut in the shape of a heart? Am I close? Happy food fight!

Hahahaha yeahh! You're pretty close. But no, it's not pepperoni, it's called fuet. This bar had the shape of heart by chance, as it is never a perfect cylinder. Happy food fight!

It’s settled, Emily Dickinson is a gangster! I’m not typically the type of person who enjoys reading other people’s poetry—Emily just changed that.

In love, are ya? Congratulations, @luzdelua, happy food fight! It’s always a pleasure hanging out with you. Happy Friday, chef.

Thank you so much!! I'm glad you liked the author I chose, I completely agree with you. Happy food fight to you too!

Looks too good to eat.

Hey, @luzdelua.

Fancy. So I just looked up fuet and it sounds a lot like chorizo, but with different spices. Sounds good. It's interesting though that the tube they're packed in doesn't stay in a cylinder shape. I wonder why that is?

Of course, before you described to somewhat else what it was, I was thinking french bread, toasted, molded into hearts, with some kind of jam and maybe butter on top? Fuet makes much more sense. :)
