WHEN FARM-MOM'S AWAY, HARD BOILED EGGS ALWAYS SAVE THE DAY #FFF

While in Venice, Florida this past week, @farm-mom and her sister hit the outlet stores for an afternoon of shopping. Whenever there's a sale, my wife likes to save us money.πŸ˜₯πŸ˜ͺ😫

While the ladies were shopping, lunchtime rolled around and I realized I would be fending for myself if I wanted to eat.
Being the culinary wizard that I am, homemade egg salad was on my radar. A dozen eggs and a pot of water was all I needed. I filled the pot with cold water and placed the eggs in, as I was taught to start hard boiled eggs in cold water before bringing the water to a boil.

My secret to an excellent egg salad sandwich is to boil off all of the water, have the eggs explode, mixing both the shell and the HARD BOILED EGG to a fine consistency.

Preparing the eggs this way will give you the same crunchy texture that adding celery would give you, without all that chopping.

The next step is to collect all the egg shrapnel from the kitchen, mix in some of @dandays favorite condiment, mayo.

At this point all I needed was some bread. Realizing that the only bread we had was seeded rye bread, I opted to eat the egg salad straight up for fear of chipping a tooth on the seeds in the rye bread.

OMG this was hilarious! hehehehe!!!! I would BAN you from my kitchen :P hahahaha!!!!

Robin didn't think it was too funny when I showed her the pictures of the mess that i made while she was shopping, but she laughed her head off at the post.
I also thought it was pretty funny.

A week or so ago you asked why we put all of the same veggies on one stick rather than mix them all up. The reason for that is that we find that some of the veggies take longer to cook then others, mushrooms are usually the first ones done and onions take longer. This way we can take off each veggie as it's done, without under cooking, or over cooking any one of them.

Yeah you had me in a good set of giggles with this post... oh and @bitrocker2020 in relation to your aspirations of preparing the perfect boiled egg, after mastering your fried chicken... do NOT follow @thebigsweed's instruction here on this post HAHAHAHA!!!!!

As for the kebabs... ok, that makes sense I guess - I wonder how we manage to get it right here in South Africa then?!... with all the ingredients mixed on one stick.... oh that's right, because we BRAAI and we know what we are doing :P HEHEHEHEHE juuuust kidding!!!!
