He walked wearily along the train platform. His was the next train. Despite his tiredness, the unfamiliar style of another train waiting to depart caught his eye.

Quite old fashioned looking.

He peered in its smoke-smeared windows with a jaded chuckle. Some of the people in the carriage looked so familiar.

In fact wait, wasn't that his ex-wife? It was! She caught him looking and waved cheerily.

But she had been dead these last five years?

The carriage doors alongside himshished open. His father beckoned him in.

He no longer felt so tired.

He understood now.
