FLASH FICTION: The Suicide Bomber

Standing on the edge of the balcony, I saw him walking confidently into the school building. He wore a flappy, white robe which made him unusually fat. The beards on his slender face were heavy, forming scary ringlets. He muttered some words, perhaps his last prayers.

In a few minutes, the school bell would ring and the children would meet their untimely death. God forbid! I lifted my rifle, held my breathe, and aimed at the head of the beast. Kaboom! Down he went like a shit coin.

Nevertheless, when we rushed to the scene, we saw neither grenades nor any weapon strapped to the waist of the dead man. I would be charged for murder. I had killed an innocent beggar.

Nice post

Lovely message! Too much stereotypes

That's the message, friend. You got it right. The narrator is guilty of fallacy of generalization.

Ahhhhh!!!! Tough times ...Ugh...Its difficult to find out who is a terrorist and who is innocent these days :(

Thanks for following this intriguing story. Yes, you get the point. There is a twist in the story. Please do well to read the link I sent to you about bid bots.
