Matt and Sarah had dinner on the floor of the bedroom. They couldn't stop talking and they planned everything on a spreadsheet on Sarah's laptop.  No definite plans were made yet but the basics were in place.  Matt gave her the number of two plumbers and an electrician that would not charge her a fortune and he gave her the number of an architect that he worked with that would help her with the original layout of the house. Sarah made a list of everything she had to do the next day.

It was nearly midnight when Matt left and after she locked the door, Sarah walked up to her new bedroom.  She was overwhelmed by everything that happened that day and she fell into bed totally exhausted.  She snuggled up in her new bed with her new duvet and fell asleep almost instantly.

That night she dreamt that Rich sat in the chair next to her bed. She tried to talk to him but he just smiled at her.

When she woke up the next morning it was nearly ten o'clock.  She checked her cellphone and saw that there was a missed call from Matt.  She phoned him back but he didn't answer. She took a quick shower but realized that she definitely needed to go shopping.  She forgot her shampoo in the shower in the apartment and had to tie up her long hair into a ponytail. It made her look younger than she was and when she left the bathroom she felt as old as she looked.

She was excited about the day ahead of her and planned to go to the library first to see if she could track down any history of the house. She wanted to know everything that she possibly could about the original design of the house.

Sarah parked in front of the library and as soon as she got out of the car Matt called.  He apologized for missing her call but explained that he was in the middle of a business deal and that he had to go out of town for a few days. He would call her when he was back.

"Well that was quick" Sarah thought, but she didn't think too much of the phone call. She spent two hours in the library and was surprised at all the information that she found. She couldn't wait to put it all together and complete the whole history.  She wanted to call Matt to tell him the news but then she remembered that he was going out of town and she did not want to disturb him on his trip.

She went shopping for what she needed and bought some food to keep in the house.  Now that she had a proper kitchen she might as well start cooking again.  She was not looking forward to spending the weekend alone, and stopped at the paint store to buy some paint for her bedroom.

"This will be a new adventure" She has never painted anything in her whole life, but there was always a first for everything she thought to herself. She decided on a bright yellow and was sure that this color would brighten up the room.  She unpacked everything at home and then went upstairs to her bedroom.  She had very clear instructions about the paint and she did not want to make a mess.

She decided to move all the furniture to the middle of the room before she started to paint.  There were not a lot of furniture, so she quickly pushed the bed and the side table to the middle of the room, but had a little bit of trouble with the big Oak cupboard standing in the corner.  It has not been moved for many years and it was the only loose-standing cupboard in the house.

She moved it a few inches from the wall but was overwhelmed by the weight of the cupboard. The door swung open just as she moved it and when she tried to close the door with her one hand she saw something fell to the floor. It was a black and white photo of a little girl. She picked it up and moved closer to the window to see if she could make out anything in the natural light. She turned around the photo and on the back was a simple name and date, written with a black pen.

It read, Amelia 17 April 1922.  It was the oldest original photo that she had ever seen, and she had to be careful not to damage it.  She immediately put it in the drawer of her bedside table.

Who was this girl?  Could she have once lived here in this house?  Did she grow up here? Perhaps it was coincidence but Sarah felt that there was a reason she had found this photo. If she did not move that cupboard this photo would have been hidden forever.  Sarah couldn't wait to share this information with Matt.

The Lottery Council I thought I could do in two episodes.

You are a master of intrigue!!! You really have so much material in your head that it is bursting and ready to flow out. I remain dedicated to your story because of the way you write it. I can envision everything as you describe the house, the room, the beauty of the story and the photo. Tomorrow can't come soon enough! Keep up this beautiful story. I love the way it is unfolding!
