Wow, great world building, @cizzo. I could really see this play out. It has a bit of a film noir undertone. But there's another layer there that is rather disturbing -- the fact that Wallace's appetite ramps up after seeing gruesome murder scenes!

    Thank you @jayna! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wanted to play with the cliché of losing ones appetite when terrible things happen. Leave some ambigiouty for the detective. Might write some more about him one day :)

      Yes, I think you should! He's an interesting character to explore. I was definitely intrigued!
