Mr Farthing's Potion of Summa Inutilitatem
This is the potion to have! Keep a bottle of this in your arsenal at all times. Instantly be able to ride a steam-driven bicycling machine - or know how to use any other mechanical device, once ingested.
Sounds too good to be true? Well it is! Of course no chemical concoction could possibly ever help you do that - but your enemy does not know this.
This is the leverage to use when you need to get out of a bad situation.
Offer up this potion with the full confidence that it will never actually work.

An Interview With IthraGaian
This interview was conducted and recorded via video-phone, from an undisclosed location inside a mountain (for reasons that remain unclear), but we certainly appreciate that we were allowed to parley with him.

Interviewer: Are you an Aristocrat or an Adventurer?
IthraGaian: I thought this was clearly visible, I am not one of those lawless
adventurers.
Interviewer: And are you a male or a female?
IthraGaian: The fact you ask this in an interview shows you need better glasses, even my voice should have told you I am a man!
Interviewer: So why did you choose to become an Aristocrat?
IthraGaian: I didn’t choose, I was born that way … You obviously are an adventurer for not knowing our way of life.
Interviewer: Because of this, would you say you have lead a life of hardship or privilege?
IthraGaian: I don’t understand your question, you know privileges are hard to bear!
Interviewer: What is your favourite book?
IthraGaian: The Quantum Network Mastered, written by Olad Stroem.
Interviewer: What do you do for fun?
IthraGaian: I love surfing the quantum net, finding information on my ancestors, glorious persons you know, for sure.
Interviewer: What do you think of UltimaCorp?
IthraGaian: Never heard of it, must be a tiny group of worthless persons ...
[We are sure, dear readers, that he is only teasing us at this point! We know everyone is respectful of the great all-seeing, all-knowing, all-wise company.]
Interviewer: What do you eat for breakfast, before a big battle?
IthraGaian: Roasted Chicken, they are so rare to find these days.
Interviewer: How often do you train, and what is your routine?
IthraGaian: Daily, with my armoured bot, the roads are not safe anymore with those scavengers calling themselves “adventurers”.
Interviewer: What is your favourite weapon?
IthraGaian: My brains, of course like any well educated people!
Interviewer: What is a piece of useful advice you would give to new fighters?
IthraGaian: Hu? don’t mess with me punk!
Interviewer: Where do you keep your guns?
IthraGaian: You need a gun, hu? Go fetch yours, I won’t reveal my stock info!
Interviewer: What colour should the Clockwork Arena be painted?
IthraGaian: Ho, you’re one of those arena lovers … Only beasts like it. I live my life and survive the best I can, this world is crazy, just because those guys forgot what meant noble blood ...
Interviewer: Do you have a special talent?
IthraGaian: Special talent? Except science, I would say “Being patient enough to reply a worthless interviewer”.
Interviewer: What are your dreams for the future?
IthraGaian: Like everyone I guess, survive ...
Interviewer: If you were allowed into the laboratory, what would you create?
IthraGaian: I will soon build my own laboratory, and my researches are confidential.
Interviewer: As an Aristocrat, do you have a motto?
IthraGaian: You see that shield on the wall, it’s my family’s arms, if you were able to read you would see : “+Never anymore” that is our motto!
Interviewer: Do you have siblings?
IthraGaian: Again, look the shield there, such a family has of course siblings.
Interviewer: Do you have any allergies? Annoying habits?
IthraGaian: Allergy to idiots, and I start feeling itchy to be honest.
Interviewer: As we are at the end of our time, is there anything you wish to add for our readers?
IthraGaian: Yes I think I wasted enough time, you see my [virtual] door there, so please proceed and come back only when you have interesting things to say. I have much more important things to do ... Ohhh look there, a soft cushion… don’t even try to touch, it’s mine, I saw it first! Bye for now, gogo!
[The interview was cut off abruptly as @ithragaian became distracted with collecting items from the chests he'd recieved in his @steempunknet game so we did not get to take a photo, or have time to ask for one to be supplied.]

Some of our readers may be wondering just what defines a story as being 'steampunk', so we have included this definition for your edification.

*So begins the Time Traveller’s astonishing firsthand account of his journey 800,000 years beyond his own era—and the story that launched H.G. A pull of the Time Machine’s lever propels him to the age of a slowly dying Earth.
