Let’s start a story, the story of a young girl who spent her life satisfying her man. She did virtually all the important works needed to support a man from the beginning to the end. Starting from when he had nothing, going from one house to the other begging for food and water just to keep soul and body going.
I was with him when he just finished school and he lost his father in a robbery attack. His father was a policeman who was dedicated to his service to the nation. I loved Tade with all my heart even as a young lady. I was willing to sacrifice everything for him including my life. Things were not fun and rosy for him as he had to struggle through the Polytechnic as there was no money to finance his education anymore. I had to sell ugwu, so we could gather his school fee and pocket money. In fact, most times we struggle with paying the tuition that we do not have the chance to gather pocket money. Things were going on like this all through his period in school.
He had other issues which also affected his academic grade. He had to also work to feed his younger siblings who were also going to school. He sold cloths, pure water, books, then he went on to start riding bikes, so he could get daily money to survive. He would make an average amount of 1000 Naira daily and will have to remit 600 Naira daily, he would get fuel of 200 Naira and he would be left with 200 Naira to survive with.
What happened next? Very interested to know..
