Listen to all am going to tell you today my son Adekunle, whenever mother wants to talk something serious she would call me my son Adekunle,so I already know today is a serious day. I am not your biological mother as you believes. I raised my head up and stared straight to her eyes what is mother saying ? Or is it old age that is disturbing her? Mother what do u mean? I managed to ask her calmly, yes my son Adekunle am not your biological mother.

Hmmmmm! Igi to to ki pe nigbo, orun re re o Awele,I heard her lamenting as she continues. I,Awele and Fijabi happened to be best of friends in our teenage days,
But with time, things changed and it was right time for us to be married. I and fijabi decided to be together forever and Awele was to marry the king.

It wasn't bad, but the best we all wanted. I was forced to ask her what she actually means by the king? What do you mean by the king mother? I mean King Adeniran the present king, she answered.

Everything went on well as I married fijabi and Awele married the king. But with time something wasn't right,I couldn't give birth and Awele couldn't as well. So we both kept on offering sacrifice and taking different herbs so as to conceive. Fortunately eight years later Awele was pregnant but I wasn't,that doesn't stopped us from being close, and she kept on advising me as we both move from one herbalist to the other.

One day as we set in search of a herbalist,we met a woman, a fortune teller who crossed our way uttering strange words. " And the other is to take care of the other's child as hers, that's the baby's destiny. We both looked at each other and couldn't do anything than to ask the guards with us to drag her out of our sight.
