This is a work of fiction, based off real places and based off a real study they did you can google it yourself, this is where the fiction comes in. I am using my imagination to expand on rumors of what they actually did into a work of fiction. I hope you enjoy chapter 2

Chapter 2

It started a lot early than people realize. Genetic manipulation started in the late 1800’s. Scientists made discoveries in the early 1900s that by the 20s would start to shape and change a community. Unlocking more and more discoveries as the decades progressed. Testing secretly on a community, while the government publicly declaring a sociological study that they wanted to do and had chosen Muncie, Indiana as what Middletown USA looked like across America. They would come back every 20 years to do survey’s, and collect data about incomes, graduation rates, and things that doesn’t seem harmful. But the true reason of the study was to monitor the effects of the secret scientific studies, the United States government approved and ordered.

To cover up what they were doing they bribed the Ball family who had recently opened up a glass jar factory. The United States government paid to build a teachers college and a new hospital with the Ball Family name. Eventually that college would grow into Ball State University. A really nice cover if you think about it. I suspect this is not the only community this has been done to. But I have no proof of that and if they are doing it else where they are hiding behind another story.

I have discovered the goal of these experiments it is to create hybrid and or enhanced humans. Their experiments though have also done other things they don’t realize yet. I wonder how long it will take for them to realize that what they have been trying to create based off legends and myths exists in nature and has been hidden from humans, well at least till something in one of the limited studies unlocked an enhancement or ability. I don’t know what to call it. But my brother and I have been calling it veil lifters.

Our mother was experimented with while she was pregnant with my brother and I. She started bleeding when she was 3 months along and went to Ball Memorial hospital. They gave her a shot to stop the bleeding. Then told her she had to stay because some women have died after receiving the shot. It was experimental, our mother says she got very upset, she didn’t understand why they didn’t tell her that before giving her the shot. But a few hours later she was still alive and they released her. What my mom didn’t know was she was the first person to survive that shot. My brother hacked the hospital records not long ago trying to find out why we can do what we can do. It wasn’t much help, interesting but not much help at all.

The stranger comment that scared my mother was “We were the children that would unlock the gates between the veil. The world Science was so eager to make already exists behind a veil and that we would be able to unlock the gates between the worlds to destroy humanity.”

This is why our mother chose to isolated us and choose very carefully those who were in our lives. She didn’t believe the nonsense but she had some strange dreams that made her feel uneasy when that stranger years ago said what he said. She was determined that she would raise children with kind hearts not harden by the world so if by some crazy chance her dreams and this warning was true, maybe just maybe it wouldn’t be her children to destroy humanity.
