Sci-Fi Novel: The Ultimate Debate - Presention (English/Turkish)

I for one welcome our new computational overlords!

Joking aside I'm not really sure that we'll have much of a chance at deciding the fate of AI. It honestly matters how fast it is at recreating/improving itself. We can only expect it to get faster and faster at this too.

So yes what if we do have AI and it's only around for a few days, weeks or months because it improves itself beyond our understanding so quickly that we don't even know what truly happened to it?

An example of this is in the movie "Her." In this movie, the AI is only around for what seems like maybe a year. In that time the AI advances so much that even talking with a human becomes cumbersome because of the AI's advancing beyond our perception of time.

This actually ends up being, in my opinion, one of the best outcomes we can anticipate when it comes to an AI singularity.
