Non vedo un nesso diretto, se usi il MyEtherWallet con il Ledger e provi a vedere la chiave privata vedi che non c'é nulla, quindi il sito in questione non vede la tua chiave privata ma "broadcasta" solo sulla rete la tua transazione firmata e la firma viene fatta dall'hw wallet senza far uscire la chiave privata
