The 2018 FIFA World Cup is just hours away. Tonight, all eyes will be on the host country Russia, which will lift the curtain of the world’s most-watched sporting event with a splendid opening ceremony at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
The opening ceremony is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. local time and will last about 30 minutes, featuring a series of musical acts, including British pop star Robbie Williams, and nearly 500 dancers, gymnasts and trampolinists. Russia will kick off the World Cup with the opening match against Saudi Arabia at the same venue.
