Well done, @foragingquietude! Especially if this is your first 50-word story. I really had to think about it for a moment, and then the meaning hit me. It's a clever story.

    Thanks @jayna. I'm really enjoying these micro fiction challenges. I think it's just what I needed to get back in the mindset of writing after taking the past few months off.
