T-50 PAK FA is not in vain called the prospective aviation complex of front-line aviation, the fighter of the last, fifth generation. In addition to the mass of technical innovations used in this domestic development, the machine is expected to be equipped with the most sophisticated weapons for various purposes.
It is known that the T-50 is a multipurpose fighter, this multifunctionality is reflected in its ability to strike. In addition to destroying enemy aircraft in the sky, PAK FA will be able to effectively operate on land and sea targets.
It is known that the total combat load of an aircraft can exceed 10 tons. At least 1.5 of them are missile weapons of various classes. There are also guided missiles of large, medium and short range, and air-to-surface missiles, and corrected air bombs. In total, according to available data, at least 14 types of different weapons are being developed for the new aircraft. Part of these developments is concentrated in the corporation Tactical Missile Armament, and, as its CEO Boris Obnosov said, a new generation of high-precision weapons is being created at its enterprises, which is two to three times higher than the capabilities of its predecessors in terms of combat potential and its potential, and also not inferior to the best foreign analogues.
Some of the novelties of weapons for the T-50 are on display at the MAKS-2015 aerospace show that is currently underway. Among them - the R-73E air-to-air missile, which became the continuation of the legendary R-73 missile line. These short-range weapons and close high-maneuverable air combat are designed to destroy air targets (fighters, bombers, ground attack aircraft, combat helicopters, military transport aircraft) at any time of the day, from any direction, against the background of the earth, with active opposition from the enemy.
The missile control system uses a scheme of all-passive passive infrared homing, that is, the "put-forget-forget" principle operates. The missile will overtake the target, and that can be at an altitude of up to 20 kilometers and make bumps with an overload of up to 12 g. Combat charge of eight kilograms of explosive, which carries R-73E, is enough to inflict fatal damage to any aircraft.
Even more opportunities to defeat air targets, including cruise missiles, is possessed by a missile RVV-BD, which can also be equipped with PAK FA. The target for this missile can be at an altitude of 25 kilometers and at a range of up to 200 kilometers. The RVB-DB uses a time-tested inertial guidance system with radio-correction and active radar homing in the final section of the trajectory. The combat part is represented by a high-explosive fragmentation mass weighing 60 kilograms.
Another missile from the proposed nomenclature of T-50 weapons is the RVV-SD missile. It is designed to defeat not just aerial targets, but also, perhaps, even flying armored objects. For example, assault helicopters, which are known to have partial reservations. The combat part of the RVV-SD is made in a multi-cumulative version, and the fusing device is a laser non-contact target sensor.
High potential and anti-ship weapons of the new Russian aircraft. For example, the X-31AD missile, which can be equipped with PAK FA, is capable of delivering a charge of 110 kg to the target at a distance of up to 160 kilometers. The missile achieves a speed one and a half times higher than the sound speed, while the aircraft can launch it, being at a height of 100 meters to 15 km.
The characteristics of another aviation tactical anti-ship missile - X-35UE are also unique. The range of its launch is 260 km, while the capture of the target by an active-passive radar homing head is already over 50 kilometers. The peculiarity of the use of this weapon is also that, when flying to the target at an altitude of about 15 meters above the water surface, the missile on the final section is reduced to the minimum limits, which reduces the possibility of its interception by air defense. It is possible to apply X-35UE when sea waves up to six points, and the mass of the warhead is 145 kilograms.
"The process of creating weapons for the PAK FA goes hand in hand with the flight tests of the aircraft and its on-board systems," says Boris Obnosov, director general of the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation. - Tests on the combat use of the complex will complete the process of its creation. In general, there is a normal working interaction: the scheduler of work and the protocols of information interaction with the board have been agreed with the aircraft developer. The mock-ups and technological variants of missiles are being supplied for testing. "
No less impressive is the "set" of the bomb load, which can be equipped with the T-50. In the possible nomenclature of such weapons - the corrected aerial bomb KAB-500S-E with satellite guidance equipment and high-explosive warhead. This bomb refers to high-precision guided airborne weapons and acts similarly to cancer
