The film, starring Sylvester Stallone is made as many as 4 (four) series: namely Rambo I titled "First Blood I"; Rambo II titled "First Blood II", Rambo III, and Rambo IV.
RAMBO I (First Blood I)
Starting from the story of the 1982's when a US war veteran came home from Vietnam. John Rambo, a former best member of the Army Special Forces, returned to America to try to continue living in his native country. But his return was greeted very unkindly. A Police Sherif arrested him after he could not 'throw him out', Rambo was raided by the police at the police station, finally escaped and became a police fugitive in the city. Rambo was out of the woods, and here he waged war against the policemen. In this forest, replace the policemen who were disqualified along with mercenaries who were also deployed, then he returned to the city and took the "war" there. Gas stations were blown up, shopping spots, public facilities were ravaged until the city lights were turned off, until it was the turn of the Police Station to be ransacked and the irritated Sheriff was almost killed in his hands. Thanks to the advice of Colonel Trautman (his boss during the war in Vietnam) Rambo also surrendered to the authorities.
RAMBO II (First Blood II)
This second series continues the previous story. Set in time in 1985, Colonel Trautman picked up Rambo who was undergoing his days as a prisoner. He was offered freedom, if he could accomplish a mission to investigate the whereabouts of the remains of American prisoners of war in Vietnam. Unexpectedly "commander" field based in Thailand, it turns out Rambo can pass a prisoner of war and bring it to the pick-up. But the "commander" was actually 'willing' the prisoner and Rambo to be caught by the Vietnamese soldiers by failing to pick him up. The next session is the story of Rambo's capture and the success of his effort to escape. Even the situation turned around, Rambo alone managed to ravage the military camp. The Vietnamese soldiers were really a famine and the military aid from the Soviet Union - its allies - did not mean much. The end of the story, Rambo managed to free and take home the US prisoners of war. Then Rambo was rewarded with freedom and opportunity to join the American military corps, but he chose to live freely in Thailand and surrounding areas.
RAMBO III
In 1988, Colonel Trautman picked up Rambo in Thailand. This time his mission is to support Afghan Mujahideen fighters fighting the occupation of the Soviet Union. Because Rambo was reluctant, the colonel went alone to the battlefield. Long story short, Rambo has heard that his "teacher" is held by Unisovyet forces in Afghanistan. Rambopun left for Afghanistan and freed the colonel. After the colonel was released, Rambo and the Afganistas Mujahideen fighters fought and defeated the Soviet army in the district. This mission was completed and Rambopun chose to settle in Southeast Asia.
RAMBO IV
In this series, apparently Rambo shifted slightly from Thailand to Myanmar. In 2008, a country shaken by political turmoil because of its dictatorial military rule became the backdrop of the Rambo IV series this time. The story begins with the capture of two Christian missionaries from the United States by the Myanmar army. Rambo and mercenaries hired by the American Ambassador to Myanmar were also tasked with releasing these 2 missionaries. Rambo and the army
