Actually very good ratings for such a strange show.

This show is based on the movie with same title from 2004 with Jim Carrey, and as the movie seamed somehow a little too compact, this is being fixed with the tv version, as you will get alot more uncovered. The movie wasnt really that good so I had very low expectations for the tv show, and the only reason I watched it was because of Niel Patrick Harris.

The first season of this show was very quickly over, maybe because I binged it once starting watching, It is really a strange and entertaining show that keeps you glued to the screen, a good thing about this show is that you really cannot predict whats going to happend, ok some of the things you can with Count Olaf, but there are alot of interesting things that I didnt thought of, and that makes it very good to watch.

When looking at the genrer I saw "Family" and actually thought it was a kids show, but adults can watch this as well without a question, depending on what you are into of course, as this show isnt for everyone, but if you are looking for something to watch and didnt think the movie was horrible, this could be a good time killer and can be recommended, it should catch you pretty fast.

As for the acting goes, Niel Patrick does it again, he is splendid at playing count olaf, that role really suits him well being quite creepy, the kids in this show is also acting surprisingly well considering their age. As for the rest of the cast, it might seam a bit strange at sometimes, but thats just how it is in this show, really strange even with perfomances.

Could I watch this show again?
No, as this is sort of a mystery show, there is not much fun in watching it again, but it is deffinently fun to watch for the first time.

Some might say I should rate the shows, but with the way I do it its pretty hard to rate them, because I only write about shows that I recommend for watching, I dont write about the ones I dont want to see or stopped watching because I thought it was garbage. So by that I wont be rating the shows that I recommend, they are all on the high scale.

This show is about 3 kids who lost their parents in a mysterious fire in their home while the kids where sent out for a while. The kids is set out to investigate what happend and faces many mysterious events and dark family secrets, but as for a legal guardian they come to live with Count Olaf "Master of disguises" who has very bad intentions.

For TV-Shows it is quite alright to check out the trailer, depending on the age of the trailer, as you can easily get fooled and finding a quick recap of the first season of the show, and that would kinda suck.
So when watching trailers for tv-shows, be sure it is one of the first trailers that came out, to ensure there are not too many spoilers, but still informfull enough to give you an idea about the show
