Hello Steemians I hope you are all well.
Today I want to share with you a great short film, - "The Surface."
Set in a post apocalyptic world where most of the earth has been destroyed and humans live underground.
A desperate mother's only chance to try and save her broken and sick son, is to venture to the surface. An inhospitable place which is plagued by monsters.
Will she win the battle against time and against all the odds to save her boy from certain death?
This 20 minute independent short is far better than many Hollywood films, with great special effects, acting and characters. It's an immersive journey which tells a story about perseverance and empathy...

Awesome! All too often we pass judgement on our fellow man, seeing them as the enemy. If you talk to them however, you will find 9 times out of 10 they are not much different from you. Often we hear propaganda and lies about people in other parts of the world, but if we do our own research or even go and meet them ourselves we will discover just how beautiful our humanity really is.
