Funny enough I won. It was a competition for short film about what we do in the Aussie summer. They edited 5 winning entries into a short movie called Map my summer.
I won a weekend staying in a 5 star hotel in the city, and was presented an award in front of 1000 people watching this movie.
Very surreal, I knew I would win, I thought if I combine my painting with my music and love of rocks, I will blow there artistic little minds apart.
Know I know it is not that good but it was judged by film professionals as being the best in Australia for the time and what they asked for to be done.
I am embarrassed by this, but I share it every couple of years, cause it is real art in its own way.
