Actress Jodie Foster expressed her criticism on the superhero-themed movie that is now a favourite of many people. Through an interview, Foster assess superhero movies have damaged the habit of watching movie lovers wherever located, She mentioned the rise of such themed movies also make the standard of a film down and make this industry like a playground. 

"Going to a movie theatre seems to be the same as going to rides.The production houses make movies just to attract the masses and shareholders.You get the benefits but you actually ruin a life," Foster said as quoted by Deadline.

Foster was reluctant to take part when offered work on blockbuster movies with CGI and so on. Foster has an idealistic grip on the production of a film, He considered the films that involve great effects are not the film truly.

"I feel that I always have a clear reason when I'm involved in a movie, I play because there's a message I want to convey or change myself to gain a new experience, not because of such dazzling things," she said.
