I'll keep it short, sweet and relatively spoiler free. I've just got back from seeing "Spider-Man: Homecoming" - at my local Cineworld - and what can I say... It was amazing! It was everything I'd ever hoped to see in a Spiderman movie.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, from the rendition of the classic Spider-man theme tune, which accompanied - the welcome sight of - the Marvel Studio banner; to the nice little (Marvel standard) mid and post-credit clips. The acting performances were second to none (credit to the casting team), they managed to fully capture the awkward teenage encounters (which previous incarnations have unfortunately missed the mark on) and the essential Spider-man humour, which we all know and love. It was also nice to see Keaton's final form, as he completed his natural progression: from bat to bird to the vulture. All the while, the film also managed to nail the "coming of age" feel by keeping to the age old Spidey core value of "with great power, there must also come–great responsibility!".
All in all, I'd give it a solid 9/10 and I'd only be marking down for not being long enough! I'd thoroughly recommend going to see this film.
Let me know in the comments what you guys thought! I'd love to have a good discussion about it with you, my fellow Steemers :)
